Up in the air.....

Yesterday was quite the day, I had the day off for Dirt Cup at Skagit has planned to head down early and visit with out of area friends, but instead decided to stay close to home and be available for Casey if something urgent arise with his Grandfather. Casey is pretty upset and worried about him and his mother whom is their caretaker a majority of the time.... we are all hoping and praying for the best!

Later on in the day Casey called and told me that Chance and I should just head to the track. He headed down about 5 o'clock and met Grandpa Howard at the campsite. Chance and I met up with his buddy Tristin and his Mom he headed into the stands to watch the races and I headed into the pits to meet up with my Dad and friends I only get to see annually during Dirt Cup.

I was pleasently suprised when I looked across the pits only to see Casey. He had went to the hospital after work and was able to speak with his Grandfather..... feeling there was little he could do the room already crowed with other family members and with visiting hours over he decided to head to the track and relieve some worry....

The races were amazing, although my Dad's team didn't do to well, it was a good outlet for all of us. After the races we met up with Chance, headed back to the campfire, talked with Howard and his friends, but Chance to bed and then headed out for some campfire hopping and partying with friends. Both Casey and I had a great time catching up and sharing stories of the year with our Californian friends and local friends alike.

We are home now. Casey is in at the hospital with his Mother and Family and Chance and I are at home. Waiting to see how his grandfather is doing before making plans to head down tonight......
